One of the odd disconnects from the Left is it's inability to grasp radical human evil. And so we get peculiar attempts to say that billionaire/murderer bin Laden is motivated by concern for "the poor" in the Islamic world, when it is manifest that most of the Islamic world is just part of the great unwashed herd of impure Muslims who deserve to die (an angle the West has stupidly neglected to exploit in the attempt to win over the great mushy middle in Islam).
